COMBA is the official adopter of the first section of the Colorado Trail. In fact, the section that we steward is the longest such segment in the Colorado Trail Foundation’s Adopt-A-Trail program – almost 17 miles! It’s up to COMBA to make sure that the trail is well maintained and a showcase of the entire CT for thousands of users every year.
The fifth and final COMBA Women's Ride is Tuesday, September 15th at North Table Mountain Park, located in Golden, CO. Ride meets at 5:15 pm at the Tony Grampsas Memorial Sports Complex parking lot. We will ride from Tony Grampsas to the adjacent North Table Mountain Park.
This summer’s trail work has been a huge success. We completed about 2.0 miles of new trail through some fairly rugged terrain. Since we all want more and better trails, we’ll be back at it again on September 12th. All work will be done by hand which involves the use of simple hand tools. There’s no experience needed.
The monthly beginner ride is Saturday, August 1st at Flying J Ranch Park at 9:00 am. Bikesource will be here with demos and a mobile shop. Are you new to mountain biking and our incredible Colorado trails? Join COMBA on a friendly "NO DROP" ride paced for beginners on nearby front range trails.
Our June trail work weekend was another huge success. We completed about 0.8 miles of new trail including some impressive rock work. Our next build day is Saturday, July 18th. All work is done by hand involving using simple hand tools. There’s no experience needed. We provide the tools and guidance so come join us and help us build more trail and better trails.
