You’ve probably already seen some posting on MTBR.com or some of the emails that have gone out in recent weeks – COMBA is leading the effort to build a new “black diamond” mountain bike trail at Buffalo Creek. This is a very exciting and ambitious project and we’re going to need lots of help. The trail will feature advanced moves, such as drops, steep rollers, wall rides and other technical problems that utilize the unique local terrain found at Buffalo Creek. The project is sponsored by COMBA and will be built in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, Front Range Mountain Bike Patrol, IMBA and local bike retailers and manufactures. This weekend – May 30 -31 – COMBA will host two days of work on the new project, which has yet to be named. Contact COMBA Board Member Jason Bertolacci if you’re interested in getting involved. More information about the project, got to the BUILD link on www.comba.org.
